Children's Homes

Our Philosophy

Therapeutic Casework Services

Each child has an assigned therapeutic caseworker who coordinates services and maintains communication with families or placing agencies. Caseworkers develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.

Equine Assisted Learning

Our horse therapy program teaches coping and relationship skills through supervised interactions with horses. Combined with low-ropes activities, this nontraditional therapy helps children build confidence.

Working Together Program

This family reunification program teaches both children and parents the skills necessary for healthy family living. Sessions focus on communication, conflict resolution, and rebuilding trust.

Pathfinders Adventure-Based Counseling

Adventure-based counseling and wilderness education build self-esteem, personal responsibility, cooperation, and leadership skills in safe, supportive environments.

Children's Homes

Daily Life & Family Environment

Family Home Environment

Children live in structured family homes where houseparent couples provide daily guidance, supervision, and support. Homes include 6-8 children of varying ages, creating sibling-like relationships and peer support systems.

Routine and Structure

Daily schedules include school time, therapeutic activities, recreational opportunities, chores, and family time. Consistent routines help children feel secure while learning important life skills.

Recreation and Activities

Campus life includes organized sports, arts and crafts, music programs, outdoor activities, and special events. These activities provide positive outlets and opportunities to discover new interests.

Life Skills Development

Children learn practical skills including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and time management. These skills are essential for successful transitions to family life or independent living.
